Healing Solutions Technique (HS) is a unique form of energy medicine developed by Beth Daniel Jones with Quantum Technique's founder Dr. Steven Daniel.
It is based on the idea that our Creator gave us a body that is self-healing; but certain energetic components in ourselves and in our environment block our body’s ability to heal. Some of these energetic components are toxins, electro-magnetic stress, trauma, dehydration, nutritional deficiencies, emotional issues and biological toxins. These stressors and toxins block the necessary flow of energy through the body and disrupt the body’s internal communication which prevents healing. Body and mind functions are controlled and processed using various forms of bio-informational energy including the meridian pathways and chakras. Energy flows through these systems and brings vital life energy to all systems and parts of our body. With the use of Healing Solutions, we can help to re-establish healthy communication within the body. The body’s cells can then live in a healing state.

The client presents his/her symptoms which opens the energy field that we test in. Healing Solutions practitioners use muscle testing to identify energetic stressors and toxins in the energy field and use techniques to clear the field. Then we develop a healing code to unblock the healing energy. This code is a series of specific acupuncture and chakra points that help to bring the body’s energy system back into balance and neutralize the negative frequencies of the energy toxins. This code is unique for the client, relevant to their unique system and the present issues and time. This then helps the body to be able to use its own natural healing systems.

Dr. Shanna specializes in Functional Medicine and Integrative Healing. This incorporates the evaluation and treatment of a patient's physical body, organ systems (biochemical), emotional health, and the interactions of all three together. Functional medicine is personalized medicine that deals with primary prevention and underlying causes (instead of symptoms) for physical and emotional dysfunction and disease.

Functional medicine is anchored by an examination of the core clinical imbalances that underlie various disease conditions. Those imbalances arise as environmental inputs such as diet, nutrients (including air and water), exercise, and trauma that are processed by one’s body, mind, and spirit through a unique set of genetic predispositions, attitudes, and beliefs. A Functional Medicine doctor looks at their patient’s physiological processes and will address:

Hormonal and neurotransmitter imbalances
Oxidation-reduction imbalances and mitochondropathy
Detoxification and biotransformational imbalances
Immune imbalances
Inflammatory imbalances
Digestive, absorptive, and microbiological imbalances
Structural imbalances

Dr. Mike has been practicing chiropractic for over 25 years. He first discovered the wonders of chiropractic while wrestling at the University of Minnesota-Morris, where he obtained his undergraduate degree in biology. After graduating from Northwestern College of Chiropractic, he focused on treating patients that had been involved in spinal trauma and their recovery from auto, work or sports injuries. He has attended numerous courses in the care and management in functional recovery following.

Dr. Mike believes the body is remarkably adept at compensating for all the activity that we encounter daily, but that does not mean we have to tolerate the loss of enjoyment or pursuit of dreams and hobbies when musculoskeletal conditions interfere with life. Dr. Mike says that he enjoys seeing the improvements and “minor miracles” that chiropractic and alternative therapies deliver everyday to conditions involving pain, stiffness and functional loss and returning patients to the things that they love most.

When not in the office, Dr. Mike and his wife Kirsten enjoy spending time at the family cabin near Sturgeon Lake and exploring the beauty of Minnesota.
